March/Rally on Behalf of Guillermo, Who Faces Deportation

Our church, UCC Synod participants, and the Sanctuary Network held a March/Rally with about 400 people attending to help free Guillermo from the ICE detention center in Frederick and bring him home to his family in Brooklyn, MD. Check out this Baltimore Sun link.

Hundreds of people, including members of the Annapolis faith community, rallied in Downtown Baltimore Monday afternoon to support Guillermo Recinos Morales, a handyman, who lived in Brooklyn and worked in the Annapolis area. (Picture from the Baltimore Sun, Thursday, Jul. 6, 2017.)
