Creation Spirituality Communities are a network of communities ranging from intentional groups to alternative churches, which are grounded in the tenants of Creation Spirituality and revere the sacredness of all creation. Through study, ritual, celebration and action, these communities support justice, compassion, transformation and sustainability for the Universe and for all living beings. It is both tradition and movement, celebrated by mystics and agents of social change from every age and culture.
UCC Annapolis is home to the Evolve Creation Spirituality ministry, which gathers every Sunday at 6pm.

Christian eXplorations Youth Group
For youth over 12 years, Christian eXplorations is a hands-on youth program. We gather for monthly social gatherings and also for mission projects, including our annual Box Out Homelessness event in September.
God blesses us with abundance. Many people from some of the most war-ravaged parts of the world are seeking refuge in our community. Our missions committee has partnered with World Relief Anne Arundel County to help provide assistance to families from places such as Syria, Iraq, and many other places.
Entrusted with 3.5 acres of land in the South River watershed, we take our stewardship to creation seriously. In 2015 we were awarded a $50,000 Watershed Restoration Grant by the Alliance for the Chesapeake. Part of our ministry today is working to allow the native plants in our meadow, BayScape, and bioswale ample time to grow and become established. With composting and other practices, we find our faith rooted in the soil and take advantage of the opportunity to get our hands dirty in tending for God's creation.
Our church partnered with Interfaith Power & Light in 2014 to be provided with 100% sustainable wind power. Our Giving Garden provides herbs and vegetables to our neighbors, including those at the Light House, a homeless resource center in Annapolis.
There's never any shortage of need for a hand to help in our Creation Care Ministry. Just drop us a line and feel free to get earthy.
We're dedicated to holding conversations dedicated to finding racial equality in our community.
The next community conversation on race is on April 9, 2016, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, from 3:30-5pm.
UCC Annapolis is a founding member of the Light House Homeless Resource and Prevention Center. Today we continue to support Light House through weekly food collections. We also helped to pioneer Light House's BEST (Better Employment through Skills and Training) Catering Program by hosting a monthly community meal on the Third Thursday of each month. For a suggested donation of $10, you can enjoy some of the best food cooked by graduates and students of a program that helps give them a hand up.
